Ballet / En Pointe (core class)
Ballet is a classical dance form that is the foundation of all technical dance forms. Ballet demands grace and precision and employs formalized steps and gestures set in intricate, flowing patterns to create expression through movement. Ballet is recommended and required for all dancers in order to build the strong foundation needed to attain control, grace, balance and confidence. En Pointe is for the intermediate to advanced dancer and is a continuation of Ballet on flat shoes.
*Levels Intro and I-V offered.

Ballet is a necessary building block to all other dance styles and is nicely complemented by Tap which builds rhythm, and musicality into the dancer. This is an introductory style class used to build a dancer’s skills in order to continue his/her dance training by building on social skills, group dynamics, self-control and listening.
*Recommended for students who are new to dance and are ages 7-10.
